How Enlighten Counseling Can Help

Marian Taylor, LCSW, provides professional individual counseling to help clients heal, increase hope, and progress toward a brighter path:

“Life presents unexpected challenges, leaving us feeling diminished, stuck, and in pain. I offer my witness and compassionate support to your story and struggles.  We work together to empower a unique journey of change. Using complementary approaches, I help clients to find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their relationships so they can feel more whole. I appreciate opportunities to help clients combat anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, chronic grief and loss, relational conflict, eating disorders, low self-esteem, life transitions, addictions, parenting challenges, women’s issues, and caregiver support struggles.

I provide therapy to adults and adolescents and I have experience in health care and clinical social work.  I also completed a certificate in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to treat trauma and PTSD symptoms. I endeavor to help you feel understood and valued in a safe, authentic, and restorative therapeutic relationship.

Growth often emerges from struggles. Your feelings are a guide to your values that can help move you toward a more meaningful path. I believe in your power to overcome and that you can use your personal strengths to transform discomfort and empower change. If you feel I would be a good fit for your journey, I would love to support you.”
